Is your pet is displaying any of the following symptoms?
- Difficulties in breathing or not breathing at all
- Heavy Bleeding
- Choking
- Difficulty in defecating, is constipated or if they have not defecated in over 48 hours
- Blood in the urine or if they are straining to urinate
- Vomiting over a 24 hour period
- Diarrhoea lasting more than 48 hours
- Refusing to eat for more than 48 hours
- Refusing to drink for more than 24 hours
- Displaying any type of behaviour that is not normal
If so, please get off the computer and get to your local vet clinic immediately!
Has your pet has eaten or drank any of the following substances?
- Rat poison/mouse baits
- Snail bait
- Chocolate
- Batteries
- Bleach
- Household cleaners and chemicals
- Anti freeze
- Prescription medication including headache tablets and cold & flu medication
- Moth balls
- Cigarettes
- Coffee grounds or beans
- Alcohol
If so, please get off the computer and get to your local vet clinic immediately!
People asking me what to do if their pets are displaying the above symptoms or have eaten the above substances will be dealt with harshly. Use your common sense!
